C. Cornelius C. F. Sedbal.
un cognomen de clara ascendencia púnica: C. Cornelius C. F. Sedbal; In this paper we analyze a graffito written on a jar dated around the second half of the first century AD, which was
found during the excavation in a quarter of craftsmen and merchants in Carthago Noua, currently known as Pasaje
Conesa. The inscription was incised after firing (post cocturam) and it, probably, bears the name of its possesor: he
is a Roman citizen with his tria nomina and filiation. The cognomen indicates his Punic origin: /C. Cornelius C. F.

y, en definitiva, de representación simbólica adoptadas por las aristocracias ibéricas del Hierro Antiguo; An stamped amphoric fragment from the García Guinea’s ancient excavations at El Macalón (Nerpio, Albacete) will
be examined. A formal and an iconographical study of the stamped image will be followed by some considerations
about the sociopolitical implications of the use, maybe experimental, of this uncommon punch. The rider of the El
Macalón was not till now put in relation with other Iberian representation of riders. But it shows an original, eclectic
mix of Mediterranean motives and styles, that will be successful in the later Iberian art. The characteristics of both the
punch and the selected image are interpreted as an innovative act of communication in the historical context of the
Upper Segura Valley during the 6th century BC. That point of view allows to take the rider of the El Macalón as one
of the earliest evidences of the new practices of commerce control, status reproduction and promotion, and symbolic
representation displayed by the Iberian aristocracies during the First Iron Age

Oliver Foix, Arturo
a los restos óseos; It is drawn a revision of the Iberian Necropolis of La Solivella, in Alcalá de Xivert, excavated more than 50 years ago,
from a current methodological and historic perspective, taking into consideration the use of some pieces such as elements
of the funerary rituals. At the same time it is shown the results of the anthropological stadium recently done to
the osseous remains

Since the 1970s, several exploration works revealed the potential of the Siriguarach final Bronze Age settlement. Two
significant facts were noticed: all the moulds were discovered in the same construction. Three of these moulds are
affiliated to the Atlantic typology, which is typical of the western regions of France and Iberian Peninsula. So far, the
investigations managed to set Siriguarach into the Ebro Valley metallurgical context. Several productive behaviours
were identified and all reflect a technical mastery comparable to similar population of the End of the European Bronze
Age: some being rudimentary when others are identified as more sophisticated. The typology of the moulds leads us
to study internal relationships between the Atlantic regions and the Mediterranean ones. The current investigation
shows that not only goods circulated from one area to another, but so did men, techniques, and ideas. Nowadays,
Siriguarach is still under study. This site has not revealed its full potential. Thanks to the richness of this settlement, it
should be possible to discover more information about the structure and the role assigned to the metallurgical activities; Différents travaux de prospections réalisés depuis les années 1970 ont révélé le potentiel du site d’habitat de l’âge du
