dc.description.abstract The purpose of this paper is to show that four subclasses of adjectives can be set up in Ancient Greek. To such an aim a number of morphosyntactic tests is used in order to find out the features shared by each group of adjectives as well as the properties keeping each subclass apart. In the light of the applied tests, four groups are established; they can be called, according to their semantic features: determiners, identifiers, quantifiers and qualifiers. It goes without saying that it is be counted with the existence of historical changes as to the actual subclassification of each item. es_ES
