Abstract
imaginarios? ¿Y de la importancia de la autoestima? The student's self-esteem vis-a-vis his or her action in the math class is fundamental in
orden to fell comfortable with his or her work, motivated, “able to” and do not be afraid to
try, to get it. So that he feel with the same possibilities of doing math than his other
classmates, sure of himself in an environment of a fair mathematics class and in which it is
taught for social justice. The futures primary teachers should be aware of social
responsibility that involves to educating the future generations, because their actions will
be fundamental, so it is in the primary that the students have a first contact with the
schoolar mathematics. This first approach will has effects on the idea that students build
about maths, on his or her perception about it, on her or his self-esteem, on his
imaginaries an his triumphs –or failures–. However, ¿How aware are they of this social
responsibility that involves teaching mathematics? How aware are they of their own
imaginaries? And about the importance of self-esteem?
