La formación de valores en las nuevas generaciones: Una experiencia educativa en Cuba

Abstract

En Cuba, se dedican grandes esfuerzos a una educación con calidad, una cultura al alcance de todos y de formación de valores en las nuevas generaciones. Constituye objetivo de este trabajo, formar valores en escolares de diferentes niveles de enseñanza contribuyendo a la educación ambiental a través de la elaboración del Mapa Verde de la ciudad de Camagüey para lograr el mejoramiento ambiental de la comunidad y la calidad de vida de sus moradores. Esta herramienta, promueve la participación de diferentes grupos sociales en la transformación del contexto construido y natural protagonizada por los educandos; orienta y cohesiona a la comunidad entorno a él, e incentiva el trabajo comunitario con la ejecución de acciones que pueden aplicarse en diferentes escalas del planeamiento urbano. Este estudio, se realiza sobre la base de un conjunto de indicadores establecidos en la metodología para la elaboración del mapa, facilitando caracterizar la problemática estudiada y obteniéndose como resultados fundamentales: la formación ambiental de las nuevas generaciones, la elaboración de plegables y multimedia, el diseño de un icono que se incluye en el sistema internacional y la realización de acciones para mejorar las condiciones ambientales de la comunidad

In Cuba, big efforts are dedicate to achieve an education with quality, a culture where everybody is part of and formation of moral values in the new generations. The goal of this work is form moral values in students of different grades contributing to the environmental education through the elaboration of the Green Map of Camagüey's city to achieve the community's environmental improvement and his resident’s quality of life. This tool, motivate the participation of different social groups in the transformation of the constructed context and natural stared by the pupils; guide and merge the community around it, and motivates the communal work with the execution of actions that can be applicable in different scales of the urban planning. This study, it done on the base of a set of indicators established in the methodology for the elaboration of the map, making easier characterize the studied problems and obtain this fundamental results: the environmental formation of the new generations, the elaboration of pliable and multimedia, the design of an icon that is included in the international system and the realization of actions for improve the community's environmental conditions
