Abstract
Introducción. La magnitud del Cáncer de Mama y la construcción occidental sobre feminidad y cuerpo puede influir en el bienestar holístico de las mujeres que se someten a la mastectomía. Los tatuajes, por su visión biográfica y de modificación corporal pueden ser una opción de trasformación de esa zona corporal de la mujer, convirtiendo una cicatriz en un relato de la historia vital o ayudando a recuperar el complejo areola-pezón y su aspecto original de mama. Justificación. La falta de evidencia científica sobre la efectividad del tatuaje como método de ayuda en el afrontamiento de la mastectomía hace de este estudio pertinente. Objetivos. Describir el afrontamiento de un proceso de cáncer de mama a través del uso del tatuaje artístico y el tatuaje areolar en las mujeres mastectomizadas, así como describir la percepción de los tatuadores profesionales respecto al tatuaje artístico y al tatuaje de areola en mujeres mastectomizadas. Metodología. Estudio Cualitativo en el marco del Interaccionismo Simbólico, cuyo ámbito de estudio será el Hospital Universitario Ramón y Cajal, el Hospital Universitario de Torrejón y Centros de Tatuación privados. La población de estudio serán tanto tatuadores sanitarios, como artísticos y las mujeres que se han sometido a una mastectomía tratada con tatuaje captados en el ámbito público y privado. El instrumento de recogida de datos es la Entrevista en Profundidad que serán grabadas, transcritas y analizadas con AQUAD. Conclusiones: Es necesario encontrar estrategias de afrontamientos frente a procesos traumáticos y empoderar a Enfermería sobre el tatuaje como estrategia en mastectomías. Introduction. The magnitude of Breast Cancer and the western construction about femininity and body can influence the holistic well-being of the women who surrender to the mastectomy. The tattoos, due to their biographical vision and corporal modification can be an option of transformation of this corporal zone of women, turning a scar into a statement of the vital history or helping to recover the complex areola - nipple and it original aspect of breast. Justification. The lack of scientific evidence about the efficiency of the tattoo like a method of helping on the confrontation of mastectomy makes this study pertinent. Aim. To describe the coping with a process of Breast Cancer by the use of the artistic tattoo and the areolar tattoo in the women who suffered from mastectomy, as well as to describe the perception of the professional tatooers in regard to the artistic tattoo and the tattoo of areola in in women with mastectomy. Methodology. Qualitative Study according to the Symbolic Interactionism. Area of study in the University Hospital Ramon and Cajal/Torrejón and Centers of Private Tatooing. The population of study will be sanitary and artistic tatooers and women who have surrendered mastectomy treated with tattoo They will be caught in the public and private area. The instrument of withdrawal information is Depth Interview, they will be recorded, transcribed and analyzed by AQUAD. Conclusions. It is necessary to find strategies of coping with traumatic processes and empower Nursing on the tattoo as strategy in mastectomy.
