Abstract

Argumentation theory is the study of practices consisting, wholly or partially, but in a significant way, in asking for, giving and receiving reasons. A practice is defined by implicit rules that those who take part in it are able to recognize, so that in order to describe a practice it is necessary to distinguish normative regularities from merely factual regularities. I contend that the funny, the ridicule and the laughable can help us to recognize the normative regularities and framework conditions defining a practice. La teoría de la argumentación estudia las prácticas que consisten, total o parcialmente, pero de manera significativa, en dar, pedir y recibir razones. Una práctica se define por reglas implícitas que los participantes son capaces de reconocer, de manera que para describir una práctica hay que saber distinguir las regularidades normativas de las meras regularidades fácticas.
