This new royal inscription written on a stone block for the Assyrian king Sîn-šarru-iškun was at least housed
in the Assur Site Museum until 1987. It contains a building inscription of the temple of Nabû and his consort
Tašmētu in Assur similar to other cuneiform texts as appearing on clay tablets, cones, and bricks. The
inscription consists mainly of stock-phrases that have been known for this ruler. Nevertheless, the text has to
be taken as an independent version. Esta nueva inscripción real escrita en un bloque de piedra para el rey asirio Sîn-šarru-iškun estuvo
albergada en el museo del yacimiento de Assur hasta al menos 1987. Contiene una inscripción del templo de
Nabu y su consorte Tašmētu en Assur, similar a otros textos cuneiformes aparecidos en tablillas de arcilla,
conos y ladrillos. La inscripción consiste principalmente en frases hechas atribuidas a este soberano. No
obstante, el texto debe tomarse como una versión independiente
