The main objective of this article is to claim the role of queen Victoria Eugenie
de Battenberg, coinciding with the fifty years of her death. In order to elaborate
this work the scientific method has been applied, the so-called hypothetical deductive one, because only by associating induction and deduction could a
valid or true knowledge be reached. This method is not intended to discover
anything new, but to demonstrate that the conclusions are always a logical
consequence of the premises. Ultimately, attempts have been made to reach
“probably true” conclusions, based on general statements. For this, a search of
archival sources has been carried out to answer the questions posed, as well as
the most recent, really scarce bibliography on the protagonist. They have also
taken into account the biographies made, more than twenty years ago, trying
to provide an approach where the greatest interest is in confirming the certainty
of their misfortunes. What we will see here will be the image of a queen with a
role to play that was always controlled in all her actions and that, driven by the
sufferings, managed to maintain a certain image of dignity. Next to the sections
of the article, a small initial note is made to make it clear that the article does
not want to give the image of a martyr queen, but to link the public and private
life of a queen, not a victim, but very controlled
