La política matrimonial durante el reinado de Alfonso XI de Castilla

Abstract

Este artículo está dedicado a la política matrimonial desarrollado durante el reinado de Alfonso XI de Castilla. La interpretemos como base de las relaciones entre los diferentes reinos o como complemento al inicio del desarrollo de una política internacional planificada, los contratos matrimoniales llevados a cabo por las elites sociales a la hora de firmar sus acuerdos y alianzas fue una constante, no sólo durante el reinado que nos ocupa, sino durante toda la Edad Media y, por tanto, una vía fundamental a la hora de llevar a cabo una investigación.

This article is dedicated to the marriage policy developed during the reign of Alfonso XI of Castile. Interpret it as the basis of relations between different realms or addition to initiating the development of a planned international politics, marriage contracts undertaken by the social elites when signing their agreements and alliances was a constant, not only during the rule in question, but throughout the Middle Ages and, therefore, a fundamental way when conducting an investigation.
