Promoción y cambio de la representación de justicia social mediante la educación

Abstract

Partiendo del modelo de las 3 R´s de Justicia Social (Fraser, 2008), se diseñó un proyecto para mejorar las representaciones de justicia social de alumnos de primaria y otras edades. El objetivo principal de este proyecto era promover conocimientos y habilidades para convivir en su vida cotidiana mediante mecanismos basados en la justicia social. La metodología se basa en talleres participativos y cooperativos. Después de una evaluación inicial a los participantes de la representación de justicia social, se llevó a cabo el proyecto. Consistió en 3 módulos: 1) Descubriendo la justicia social; 2) Habilidades para prevenir y solucionar injusticias sociales; 3) Creando un concepto común de justicia social para convivir. Al final de los módulos, se evaluaron los cambios en las representaciones del concepto de justicia social. Los resultados muestran mejoras en los niveles de justicia social de los participantes y en la identificación y resolución de los dilemas de las injusticias sociales, mostrando altos niveles de satisfacción con la metodología de aprendizaje utilizada en este estudio. De forma complementaria se trasladó esta experiencia educativa en forma de taller aplicado a alumnos de Formación Profesional (15-18 años) haciendo especial hincapié en la R relacionada con la representación/participación

Based on the model of the 3 R's of Social Justice (Fraser, 2008), a project was designed to improve the representations of social justice of students. The main objective of this project was to promote knowledge and skills to coexist in everyday life through mechanisms based on social justice. The methodology is based on participatory and cooperative workshops. After an initial evaluation of participants in the social justice representation, the project was carried out. It consisted of 3 modules: 1) Discovering social justice; 2) Abilities to prevent and solve social injustices; 3) Creating a common concept of social justice to live together. At the end of the modules, the changes in the representations of the concept of social justice were evaluated. The results show improvements in the levels of social justice of the participants and in the identification and resolution of the dilemmas of social injustices, showing high levels of satisfaction with the learning methodology used in this study. In a complementary way, this educational experience was transferred in the form of a workshop applied to students of Vocational Training (15-18 years), with special emphasis on R related to representation / participation
