The analysis and partial edition of a pamphlet printed in Granada in 1612 is carried out in the present article. This pamphlet includes three texts of very diverse content and origin: the history of a monster of Bengal, a romance of Lope de Vega about the life of Christ and other poem about a priest acclaimed as a saint. The similar metric of the compositions (the romance) and the ideological harmony of this triptych allow us to propose a global reading from the historical social context in which the pamphlet is spread: Philip III's policy against the moriscos
