The analysis of cultural identity of Latin America has been a constant theme in its philosophical thought. The cultural philosophy of the Venezuelan José M. Briceño Guerrero help us to puzzle out the identity keys of this context. They are the result of a combination of the three great discourses that Briceño believes as a guide of the Latin American thought. It has resulted in a cultural philosophy critical and aware of itself that realices a reading of the colonial –and overall postcolonial– past from the Latin American approach but in the same time with the look into an universal future wich springs from the labyrinthine and enriching crossbreeding from America
