Abstract
Introducción: El dolor en el adolescente en proceso paliativo es un agente restrictivo
que actúa negativamente afectando a su calidad de vida. La combinación de medidas no
farmacológicas junto con las farmacológicas contribuye en el alivio del dolor y otros
síntomas de los pacientes.
Objetivo: Explorar la evidencia científica disponible sobre las intervenciones
enfermeras para el alivio del dolor en el paciente adolescente paliativo.
Material y método: Se ha llevado a cabo una revisión narrativa mediante las bases de
datos Pubmed, Cuiden, Scielo, Google académico, Cinahl, Lilacs, Cochrane y Psicynfo.
Resultados: Fueron incluidos 35 artículos cuyos títulos y resumen se correspondían con
la temática y finalmente, tras una lectura exhaustiva se obtuvieron 22 artículos teniendo
en cuenta los objetivos del estudio. Se establecieron 3 categorías: Risoterapia y
musicoterapia, juego y pintura y realidad virtual y videojuegos.
Conclusiones: Dada la complejidad de cuidados que precisan estos pacientes es
necesario que sean atendidos por enfermeras/os especialistas que adapten medidas no
farmacológicas para el alivio del dolor del paciente adolescente, actuando desde la
evidencia de manera integral, individual y humanizada. Introduction: Pain in the palliative adolescent is a restrictive agent that has a negative
effect on their daily life, affecting their quality of life. The combination of nonpharmacological
and pharmacological measures contributes to pain-relief in these
patients.
Goals: Explore the available scientific evidence surrounding nursing procedures for
pain relief in the palliative adolescent patient.
Sources and method: There has been done a narrative review through databases such
as Pubmed, Cuiden, Scielo, Google academic, Cinahl, Lilacs, Cochrane and Psicynfo.
Results: 35 articles were included whose titles and abstract corresponded the topic and
finally, after an exhaustive reading 22 articles were obtained given the goals of the
study. Three categories were established: laugh-therapy and music-therapy, game and
painting, and virtual reality and videogames.
Conclusions: Given the complexity of the care that these patients need, it is necessary
for them to be attended by specialists nurses to be able to adapt non-pharmacological
measures to the adolescent patient's needs, performing from the evidence in an integral,
individual and humanized way.
