ver esto analizamos el caso de las mujeres refugiadas sirias dentro del discurso occidental y turco Despite the fact that online spaces are presented as key tools for Muslim women to
reform representations that persist over them in public opinion and political-media discourse,
prevailing hegemonic discourses that relegate them to spaces of silencing and marginalization.
The present work, which incorporates research on symbolic representation, gender and postcolonialism,
argues that these stereotyped and «Islamophobic» understandings silence their voices
and simplify their reality. To see this, we analyse the case of Syrian women refugees within the Western and Turkish discourse
