26.2.c)10 LTRHA and 14 of the Oviedo Convention impose a prohibition on non-therapeutic sex selection in the context of assisted reproduction that limits the autonomy of the will of the parents and prevents them from choosing the embryo of a given sex. These provisions contrast sharply with the maintenance at the same time in our legal system of a voluntary interruption of pregnancy system that, according to LO 2/2010, allows abortion at the request of the woman during the first 14 weeks of gestation, without the need to provide a cause for it. The contrast manifests an incongruity of our legal system, whose constitutionality can be questioned
