La educación (inclusiva) del alumnado con (dis)capacidad: ¿Derecho o desecho?

Abstract

El sentido de esta comunicación es analizar y debatir sobre el derecho a una educación inclusiva, en este caso en particular, de las personas en situación de discapacidad, a partir de los marcos legales en los cuales aquella se basa (la Convención de los Derechos de las Personas con Discapacidad, UN; 2006) y de las aspiraciones fijadas por el sistema de Naciones Unidas respecto a los ODS 2030. Por otra parte, se presentarán algunas evidencias sobre la evaluación del grado de cumplimiento de este derecho, que hacen pensar que no se cumple y que, por ello, pudiera estar siendo un desecho. Finalmente se pretende generar un debate sobre lo aprendido de otros movimientos en favor de los derechos humanos, aplicados a esta realidad y sobre su confluencia con otros movimientos educativos que tienen muchos denominadores con la inclusión, como es el caso de los estudios sobre Educación para la Justicia Social

The main objective of this communication is to analyse and discuss the right to inclusive education, in this case in particular, of persons in situation of disability, starting from the legal frameworks on which it is based (the Convention on the Rights of People with Disabilities, UN, 2006). Also about the aspirations set out by the United Nations with respect to the 2030 ODS system. On the other hand will be presented some evidence on the evaluation of the degree of fulfilment of this human right. We think it fails. Finally, it aims to generate a debate on what has been learned from other movements in favour of human rights, applied to this reality and its confluence with other educational movements that have many common denominators with the inclusion, as it is the case of the studies on Education for Social Justice .
