Analogía, símil y metáfora en un poema de José Saramago

Abstract

Este artículo trata del papel de los tropos y de las figuras en la literatura y en el arte de lenguaje teniendo en cuenta la analogía, la activación del motor metafórico y del motor translacional en la construcción del poema y en su interpretación, así como el establecimiento de un código comunicativo retórico-cultural que conecta al autor y a los receptores. La presencia conjunta y la cooperación de los dispositivos retóricos son analizadas como un modo de conseguir la sinergia poética. Se explora el símil y la metáfora y su combinación por medio de las interrogaciones retóricas en el poema titulado «Analogia» del libro de poesía Os poemas possíveis de José Saramago. This article deals with the role of tropes and figures in literature and in art of language taking into account the analogy, the activation of the metaphorical engine and the translational engine in the construction of the poem and in its interpretation, as well as the establishment of a cultural-rhetorical communicative code which connects the author and the recipients. The joint presence and the cooperation of rhetorical devices are analysed as a way of achieving poetic synergy. Simile and metaphor and their combination through rhetorical questions are explored in the poem entitled «Analogia» from José Saramago’s book of poetry Os poemas possíveis.
