Abstract:
The aim of this paper lies in claiming that a
new kind of city has appeared at the beginning of the XXI
century: Mepolis (no-city); a new city that rejects not only
the characteristics of the Metropolis or Megalopolis, but
also the idea itself of city, understood as settlement and
center of a territory. In this paper the main features of this
kind of city will be described
